Question on substrate

KrisM Dec 29, 2003 09:06 PM

Were watching my aunts Leopard Gecko and I have always heard that you should use paper towles as substrate but in the tank theres sand. Is that ok? I just wanted to check because I have been told to use paper towels.

I used sand for years with out problems. Paper towels are safer, of course...and I don't use sand because it's expensive and smells bad.

OK, Thanks,
I looked up on the internet too and it pretty much said the same thing that sand is ok to use but paper towles are safer.
