This is a Black Phase Eastern Hognose I picked up a week ago. She is 37 inches long, and about as big around as a silver dollar. Anybody got a male I can purchase!?!?!

those snakes are absolutely beautifull. is the eastern captive bred, or wild caught?

I believe it is probably a long term captive (so, wild caught), since it has a good disposition. It has some scarring which has healed which leads me to this hypothesis.

I've been looking for a black Eastern for the past two months now with no luck. I had one growing up who had to be euthanised due to a nuerological disorder. She had a wonderful personality and I would love to have another similar to her. Do you know if the seller you purchased from might happen to have any more or may be able to acquire one for me to purchase? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch- Jennifer
