It has been a long time since I have been on this forum. For people condidering keeping frilleds the are some things to consider. First, I would not think that by keeping frilleds you are going to make a ton of money. The market gets flooded every year with tons of imports and the prices will only continue to decline. Second, if your going to keep one of these incredilble animals please make sure it has a proper cage. They really should be in something at least 4X4X4. They also require a ton of food compaired to other lizards, and almost non of them will eat greens. I started breeding roaches for mine since they where eating thousands of crickets and it was costing me a small fortune. Some will eat pinkies which also works well. Third, they are not as easy to breed as beardies. I kept 2.4 in a cage and it worked very well for me. One male was dominant and did most of the breeding. They need lots of water because they are horrible shedders and they also will need lots of misting during the breeding season. The only big downside is the mixing of breeds. When you buy a frilled it is very hard to know if your getting a NG, or a NG X Silver Aussie. Forget about pure red aussies because nobody in the US is producing them. They are alot of nice crosses, but even the nicest reds tend to be a weak strain. Anyway, frilled are still a lot of fun but own one because you like it, because they are not going to make you a ton of money.
