Can you explain more about this "compacted sand idea"? Also, what are those pale green rocks littered about the floor?

The compacted sand idea is you buy tropical playsand from agway or walmart and you take the sand and bake it to kill off anything that is not sterile...then you run the sand under hot water and drain excess water...then you take the moist sand and put it in the empty tank and push it down to make the shape you want with hills and such(when summer comes around i will be doing this)....make sure its pushed down nice and firm and let it dry out...once dry it will be hard like stone and have a little bit of loose sand scattered everywhere like in nature...then everyfew months wet the sand and press it back down so the sand that is loosened is rehardened so impaction doesnt occur....
