Moto is about 4 1/2 inches snout to vent, he's healthy and energetic (boy is he ever)
my question...
the only thing he eats willingly is super worms and crickets (dusted).
i've tried veggies, no go. I haven't tried pinks, but someone was saying he can i guess. should i feed him fish?
if so, what kind. i heard goldfish can be toxic. guppies alright?

anything i can do to get him to munch green?
or should i just dip crickets in baby food.

as for pinks. do you feed live? or frozen/thawed?
that would be nice.

thanks all.

Pinkies you should feed sparingly as they are high in fat...maybe feed one every two weeks...feed them frozen...never live, he should take it right out of your hand or some tongs.

Usually water dragons don't eat a lot of greens...honestly the only way to do it is to leave it in there all the time, just keep replacing it and someday he'll try it and like it. Most water dragons and basilisks will eat some veggies but not usually until they at least adults...also you can offer a dog food that is low in ash levels...crickets and superworms are perfect and make sure you supplement.

Fish---you can do this but I don't like it for risk of salmonella and other bacteria. You may run into more problems that you think with a fish. If you really want...they have feeder fish at most pet stores and you can just drop it in his water container...they usually eat it right away. I'm not a fan of fish though, and also feed them very sparingly.

Good luck
