Sexing azureus?

lizard queen Dec 30, 2003 07:17 PM

I have 2 adult azureus in a tank. They have lived togeather since Nov first( WA frog day). I have not seen any fighting, and I have not heard any calling from both. They appear to be the same sex- fat and healthy. How would I sex them- The front toes, apear to be large, but with out a true male, I cannot tell if they are male size-
Thank you,
TQ

well, if they at maturity, then I would say that the lack of fighting would be a good indicator that they are males. Do you have pictures of these 2 frogs in question?

Hello,
I was thinking that they might be 2 males. I will try and get good pics of them tomorrow.
