Dumb Question from the new guy. . .

merc_2111 Dec 30, 2003 07:26 PM

I am fairly new to this hobby, although I have been a python parent for over 5 years. I was looking throught the classified ads for a new pet and I notice some people list multiple snakes with a number before the description ( 1.2 '03 Sumatran Blood Male). Is this some sort of code, does it have to do with morphs or breeding? I apologize if this question doesn't fit into the 'hybrid disscussion forum' but i have no idea where else to ask.

Thank you for any help you can offer.

the numbers represent the # of sexed animals.....in other words:

1.2.1 blood pythons means
1 male /2 females /1 unsexed - blood pythons

hope this helps, dave

Ya the first number is the male, the second number the female and the third number is the unsexed.

In other words if you have
0.0.3 you have 3 unsexed snakes.

If you have:
1.0 You have one male

If you have 0.1 You have one female

If you have 1.1 you have one male and one female.
