Hi,

This goes to all Californians or any other people who would know if there such a thing as getting a permit to be able to have Exotic venomous reptiles??? Thanks, I heard you could get one from a pet shop, but asking the experts here in this forum for clarification.

I live in Calif, and no you cannot get a permit to keep exotic venomous in this state. They are strictly forbidden as are venomoids. The best you can do is keep two native species and then you have to be in a rural area, most urban areas i.e. LA, SD etc do not permit them in th ecity.
