and I have 21 dragons, 9 of them under 6 months old.

Just get some pellet food, we use rep-cal, soak it and add to the top of their salads or drop it onto a paper plate in the tank, they see it and once they get hungry they all eat them fine and were full.

I was tempted to just keep them on the pellets as they did fine without the crickets, but I had already ordered the crickets.

I raised all my babies this year without one cricket. The Repcal pellets are vital in a cricket free diet though. Don't panic if they don't eat them right away, it takes time sometimes to switch them over. "it's much easier if they are raised on the pellets".

Just curious, do you also feed them greens or are your dragons on a strictly pellet diet. I was thinking about this the other day when the pet store was out of crickets and I had accidently forgot to put my chopped up greens in the fridge after leaving town the other night for a day. Luckily I had my backup supply of pellets, but was wondering if the pellets had all the nutrients to replace both crickets and salad alike.

They claim to be everything they need but I'm not that brave. lol
You can't go wrong by giving the veggies along with the pellets so why risk it. I just put a good amount of pellets over the veggies & top it with the Cal, or Cal/D3 alternating daily. Then on Sun. The pellet/veggie mix gets toped with Herptivite only. (the multi vite) Giving them a break from the Cal. one day.

I hope that helps.

Thanks, that does help. I still plan on feeding them salad and crickets (you know for that hunting thing..lol), but the urgency level will be down on my part to run to the store that day in case I run out. Plus it will make it easier when I have friends watch my dragons when i'm outta town for a few days.

I currently have the juvi pellets. One of my dragons is 16-17 inches and the other would probably be 13-14 inches if he had his full tail. Should I have them on the adult pellets? Are they the same ingredients just different sizes between the two?

Thanks for your help
