I have a real big concern right now about my mali uromastyx, Slowpoke ...my boyfriend had just got done feeding him and was just holding him for a few minutes...he forgot to close the room door and my dog came in..(the dog wont bother him but pokey IS afraid of the dog...my boyfriend didnt expect it and he jumped out of his hand....he fell on the ground(which is carpeted but not very cushioned) and shook like he was having a seizure for a few seconds...now he wont move his tail...its just kinda hanging there hes dragging it kinda...it doesnt LOOK like anything is wrong with it(swelling hanging oddly its just limp) but you can tell that something is definitley bothering him...im so scared right now and my vet isnt open until the morning...i plan on bringing him asap...i just needed to know for now if anyone had any advice at all...i feel terrible for him...hes probably in so much pain(he even peed on me when i came home and checked him out which he never does...i wasnt here when it happened so i couldnt even tell you what position he landed in...is there anything i could give or do for the pain...id really appreciate any help at all

I would get him to the vet ASAP. I really don't know what advice to give you ... keep him warm and as unstressed as possible. Don't handle him unless it's absolutely necessary. Please let us know how it goes at the vet.
