What's the biggest blood python locality???

Hi,

what's the biggest blood python locality? and How big can it get? some pet store owner told me the biggest ones were Malaysian bloods and can get 10 feet??? I can't believe it...was wondering in your opinion..thanks....

I certainly hope so... heh heh heh... Actually, since I have a male, I probably don't have a prayer. I think what you're realistically looking at even with a red is 6-7 feet.

The record is supposedly 9 feet 4 inches for a brongersmai from central Malaysia. I ran across the reference many years ago and don't remember right off hand where I saw it. Dave Barker could possibly help with that. I did see another Malaysian brongersmai in a video about 15 years ago, filmed in Malaysia, that I would estimate at close to 8 feet, which isn't a whole lot shorter. I would be interested in the source of the record measurement if anyone knows it. I have a female brongersmai that is slightly over 6.5 feet but I know there are larger ones than her being kept by individuals on this forum.
