Corn snake care questions, etc...

What is the correct humidity to keep cornsnakes at? Is 30-40% okay?

What's an average adult weight?

Is there a big size difference between males & females?

Thanks.

I don't pay a lot of attention to humidity for mine but I would say that is a good range. Babies I make sure have a good soak dish and I watch for drying out....like that ever happens in NY! Sheds will usually tell you if the snake is good with the humidity and I have never had a corn or ratsnake not shed great. Ventilation and airflow is just as important, if not more so.

I have 3-6yo snakes that weigh a pound and a half....give or take. For averages and differences you will want someone with more snakes to weigh. My females are all younger and only just breeding size.....except my monster black ratsnake girl who is bigger than all the boys....pushing 2 pounds.

Failure is not an option. It comes bundled with the software.

There is a fairly big difference between the size of male and female. The females are usually bigger. I haven't seen actual statistics but I would guess 30% bigger.
