She came in the mail at about 12:00! She looks healthy and alert! How do you guys feed them? Ive heard of pulling off their legs so they dont hurt the gecko and pinching the head of superworms off? When do you think she will start eating? When its dark?

Just Kidding and congratulations. Since it just came this afternoon do not expect it to eat the first night in its new cage. Do not panic if it doesnt eat tomorrow either. You do not have to worry about pinching the legs off of the crickets or cutting the heads off of anything. Just feed he/she tonight and check to see if he/she ate them in two hours and remove all remaining food items. Again, congratulations...although its your first i doubt it is your last. These guys are addicting!

Already looking at an albino female hehe!

Addicting is an understatement hehehehehe. I have seven of them and i'm still looking to make more room cause the more i see other morphs the more i want one LOL. A jungle, bell albino, and stripe are top on my list. I'm not concerned with breeding specific morphs etc. I just like having a variety and because theres so many i'm going to need my own house pretty soon hehehe

They most certainly are addicting I have around 20 and it seems like alot and i guess it is but when you get into a routine with them i dosent seem that bad every day I put 45 minutes aside and change feed and water my leos and the I spiraticly take them out and hold them the way I see it you can take care of 20 leos easier then 1 chiuaua plus im allegiac to dogs so it works out great!

well basically heres the situation ive been using my dads sony digi cam. Then I save the pics in my pics folder on my comp then when i go to upload em on kingsnake it gives me the cant message I emailed the adminastrator at kingsnake he says there software just dosent like my file type like a jpeg for example im not exactly sure what kind so theres my problem let me know if theres something i can do soon my friend comes back and i can use his nixon. Thanks for any help Aaron

It could be the file size. Just resize them. Other than that I dunno what to tell you.

Also, you can open them up in Photoshop and resave them as a different type.

if it wasn't for that i'd have a house full of herps!!! I'd love to get more crested geckos.....Zeek is soooooooooo cool, but to expand my leo collection would be just wonderful. I'm hoping to breed Boo and Zoe next year but again space is an issue. I have room for tanks on top of my current unit but a rack would be so great.

I guess babying the 7 i have is good enough for now. My family and i have decided to get a kitten soon....don't know when but i heard from my brother that my dad went into the local pet store looking for one.....they had a ton before Christmas but none now. My brother saw the corn snakes and got to hold one.....now he wants one but that will be a no no with my mom LOL.

We have 2 dogs and my father saw a golden lab he would love to get........GRRRRRRRRRRRRR i couldn't stand anymore barking LOL he's also got enough fish, mostly guppies, to fill a store. He got 2 males and 4 female guppies and from that we now have like a million......they just won't stop *doing it* HAHAHAHAHA. We even set up tanks to separate the boys and girls.....but alas the females are all pregnant and popping out babies like crazy. I really really want to get my dad a HUGE tank with a stand but my brothers and i were trying to figure out where to put it in the house....we have very limited space with the 5 of us living here. I have 3 fish tanks and i can't set them up cause i don't have any room LOL.

I've honestly thought about tearing down walls to make rooms bigger so i could fit more tanks......

and I've pretty much given up hope of finding a guy and getting married.......my life seems to revolve around work and animals LOL. Theres not much time for anything else LOL.
