"female, born 2003, feeding on frozen/thawed mice, she has a typical reaction to people for her species. $250"

I like the typical reaction, does that mean she loves you and likes to crawl around and explore? That was the typical reaction of my green. I love when people stereotype snakes. Just say its mean as hell or nice and friendly, "not typical reaction to people for her species" What the hell does that mean?

I HAVE 6 YELLOW ANACONDAS AND THEY ARE ALL NIPPY. BUT THERE ARE PEOPLE LIKE DFR THAT HAVE VERY CALM YELLOWS.ABOUT 95% OF YELLOW ANACONDAS I HAVE SEEN HAVE BEEN MEAN. I HAVE SPENT ALOT OF TIME TO TRY CALMING THESE DOWN AND HAVE CAME UP BLOODY EVERY TIME. SO TYPICAL I CAN AGREE WITH.

It sure doesn't sound like a tame anaconda to my not so virgen
ears...

Maybe he doesn't even know that they can be tamed, or that many
are born relatively docile from the start.

Happy New Year everybody!!

` My experience is that they get much of their behavior potential from their parents.
` I think the first few days, and weeks, of life have a tremendous impact on their behavior potential, also. That is the best, and with some individuals, the only time to change, and begin, behavior trends.
` Dogma is one refuge for a small mind. Look at all the people voting against the venomoid forum.
`

` Here's a typical Anaconda reaction. Curiosity.

` Let me know if the pic shows. Thanks.

My 4 year old yellow is friendly and curious as a cat. She was nippy when I first got her but that was gone after a few days and has been a dream to own since. Nothing like their reputation says! She is over 8 feet now and nothing has changed. very friendly and still handled at least once a week. She is definately curious, and doesnt like to stay put when you put her down, nothing at all like my Red tail
