Ok... I have this pair of baby Russian sand boas. Obviously it gets very cold in Russia and so I'm brumating these guys for 6 weeks at 50 degrees as per the breeder's instructions. I've never brumated snakes before. We took them out yesterday to offer them water. They're always able to move around but they don't drink. We noticed that they are sort of gaping their cloacas. Not really a prolapse sort of thing, but with some pink sticking out a few millimeters. As far as we can tell they're just sitting there with their cloacas open. I'm worried because their humidity is pretty low. Help!

Peter: It's OK, I'll handle it. I read a book about something like this.
Brian: Are you sure it was a book? Are you sure it wasn't NOTHING?
