alternate leopard gecko substrate

lizardman102 Dec 31, 2003 03:58 PM

I was wondering about the feasibilty of using a flannellate sheet for a substrate for leopard geckos. And is it true that leopard geckos can be trained to use some sort of a litter area?

I know nothing about the substrate you mentioned, but I do know about your other question. For the most part leo's will actually poop in the same spot of their cage, all on their own. If they aren't, I've heard that if you move the stray poop to a corner you want them to poop in, they will eventually start going there on their own, but I'm not 100% certain on that. Hope that helped some.
