This message is for you Desert Iguana owners! Do any of you weigh your Iggys? It is a good way to keep track of their health! All my babies I have had always weighed in the 8-9 gram range when I got them. But they quickly gained weight. My adult is huge for a DI. He is the largest I have seen. He weighs nearly 104 grams. I weigh my guys once a week and keep track of their growth rate this way. It works great. I can tell if they start loosing weight for some reason! Then correct the problem before it gets worse! Works well for me! I wish everyone on this forum, and their scaly pets a very happy healthy prosperous New Year! Bill.
