I know a guy that is giving away a friendly 4' boa because it has mouth rot. I was thinking about getting it off of him but I don't know anything about mouth rot or how to get rid of it. Could someone please tell me all there is to know about mouth rot:causes,treatment,can other snakes catch it like mites? I've wanted this snake before it got sick but now I feel uneasy about it!?! thank you in advance.
