Hello folks. I'm not a poster here but I do read the forum on a daily basis, learning along with the rest of you. I'm normally posting on the Iguana, Cyclura, and Tegu forums but I do keep Uros... a pair of Mali's that I've had for almost 4 years and, more recently, a young pair of Egyptians that were gifted to me late this summer. When I received the Egyptians they were about 4 inches long, total. I had no experience with this species and Peter was a great help to me at that time. They have grown quickly and are doing very nicely. That is their photo at the top of the main page, photo taken by my daughter.
Just a note of thanks to everyone for being so helpful and willing to share information here. You've been a great help to me and my desert kids even if I do just hang in the background.

There were some terrific photos in the contest!! Please keep posting because I love seeing other people's lizards!! My photos can be seen in a KS photo gallery called "jiffypop"...what else?
