I bought a JCP a few weeks ago. She (the person at the store says she's a she) has been doing fine eating F/T. She shed once since I've had her. She's a yearling about 3 feet long. She is so cool! I was wondering if JCP usually hide most of the time. I've read they like to climb alot. When she was at the reptile/fish store she was always on her branches she had in her cage. Of course she didn't have much else. I have her in a 40 gallon breeder size tank with a couple of branches for her to climb on and a hide box on both sides of the tank. The warm side gets to around 80. Is this warm enough? I've seen her move from one side to the other but she doesn't climb around on her branches, unless she does at night when I'm sleeping or I put her on them after handling her. Should I change something or is this just her normal behavior to hide? Any thoughts on the matter....Thanks
