WTF and spanish moss?help

I bought a tank and i want to get a WTF an so far this is what ihave.. a mini lake bowl thing,spanish moss and drift wood. im planning to get more just wanted to know some opinions on setups. i havent got the frog yet i want to get the tank all done and worked out firstany cmments are welcome.

You should loose the spanish moss, all it does is provide a palce for the crickets to hide. And get some live plants like pothos and mother-in-law's tongue or some sturdy fake ones.

I agree with Derek - not only will the crickets hide in it but your frog can get choked on it or swallow some causing impaction and it stinks when it gets damp. And I also agree that you'll need plants - alot of them, either fake or live. You can also check out my site as I cover tank decor and set ups there. Hope this helps!

I agree with Becki and Derek, Spanish Moss does not deteriorate! I have to use it in an exhibit and it CONSTANTLY clogs the filter intake. Swallowing this stuff would be like swallowing 10lb fishing line.

thankx lot, u dont know how cool it is to find a room where when u ask a ? people respond ill get rid of the spanish moss. when i bought it i figured it wouldnt work but the pet store has this really annoying guy and he kept saying get this get this its a good deal....so i finally got it... what type of tree frog is on derk bensons responses? there realy neat

It is Phyllomedusa sauvagei. The waxy monkey tree frog. I have 3 now and am getting 6 more next week, they are awesome.
