I am hoping a few of the more experienced can help me out on this one. Five months ago i took in a baby gator, he was only 10 inches about a foot and a half smaller then Octoc. To my surprise they acclimated great sharing everything from food to basking spots. Unfortunatly when the time came I wouldnt be able to house 2 full grown gators properly so i gave him to the Alligator farm. Well Octocs behavior seemed to change a bit, he hid under his rock under water for days and just started eating again today. Is it possible he could miss the little guy, i do a bit. Am i just imagining all of this, do these guys even have feelings or emotions? I was just curiuos to the mental aspect of gators since it isnt really touched on too often and the way they interact with one another? Does any one think this could have been a problem taking him out? to whom reply thank you much to who just read, thank you.
