Not Constricting

My baby amel corn isn't constricting its food. Just takes the pinky and swallows it down.

Is that normal?

BTW: I pre-kill and/or feed f/t to most of my snakes, but don't bother with pinkies, since they can't hurt the snake.

dont worry from what ive been told this is normal. My lil amel and normal dont constrict. you got to remember snake are opertunistic (sp?) they wont waste more energy than they have too.
