It has similar care to the Pakistani Leopard Gecko.

Do you mean care similar to the "typical" leopard gecko, the ones you read about when you search for "leopard gecko" on the net?

Thank you, I've read this. According to this link & other sources, the Chinese Leopard Gecko (Goniurosaurus Luii), is of a different genus than the leopard geckos we all know & love. Their care is not similar, with the Chinese requiring 40-60% humidity levels & a cooler environment.
What I'm seeking is anyone who has had experience keeping these geckos, as I'm considering purchasing some.

I have experience keeping them. What would you like to know?

Thank you. I have been told that they need a heat gradient, w/ the hot end being around 85-90, they need himidity around 40-60%, they eat primarily crickets & should not be fed primarily meal worms as they don't stay warm enough to properly digest the shells, they tend to be pretty healthy (a bit more so than leos), substrate can be EcoEarth. Are all these things true? I also read on one site that they require grit, like sand, to digest food well (like birds do), but that was only on one site & seems a bit "off" to me. Is that true?

I keep my G. luii in my "cool" room. The temp is around 78-80 degrees during the day and about 72-74 at night. I don't allow the temp to go above 82. I keep them singly in 15-quart boxes on a mixture of Bed-A-Beast and sand. I keep one end of the enclosure relatively moist and mist the enclosure a few times a week. I use inverted plastic catch basins for shelter. I feed them crickets a few times a week. They are very easy to keep.
