am i wrong in thinking that it is illegal to collect reticulated geckos? i know for sure it's illegal to collect barefoot geckos, here in california, and im under the influence those are also illegal.

Nope, your right...its very much illegal. They are a protected spps. Thats why I didn't get a picture during daylight hours with better lighting.
