Sick Toad

Frogger1985 Jan 01, 2004 09:49 AM

I have a sick African Toad. He has a small lump on his hind leg that has black spots on it. When I picked him up yesterday it was bleeding. I also noticed a few similar black spots on his belly and back. I just noticed them over the past few weeks. He has also been less active. I believe he is an older toad, but I have had him for 2 years and never had any problems with him. If anyone has any information that might help I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Crissy

With such limited information, there is nothing we can do for you here. This animal needs to see a vet and you should take it to one asap. Reptiles and amphibians have underestimated lifespans, do not assume it is just getting old.
