It is actually one of those fake vines from (dare I say) PETCO. I use them throughout some of ny tanks just for looks.

I almost bought one when I was ther 15mins ago.
I bought some ecoearth, and a tank, to start a new project.

can't go wrong there bud. Eco-Earth is what I used to cover the foam in my latest 20 gallon vertical experiment. I finally have the substrate in place (no false bottom due to limited size) and a few plants in. Over the next month as things start growing in, I'll be adding and removing plants and throwing in other natural asthetics such as rocks and such. As soon as this battery charges I'll put some pics up.

Sounds good, I am still thiniking if I want a waterfall or not. I might start building the landscape with the foam tonight.
How did you use the eco earth? Expand it, then let it dry?

yep, that's pretty much all there is to it. I'm adding a water drip system to this tank as well. So far the weldbond is holding tight and seems very resistant to water.

Hey, i have the same twirlys used in my terrariums too. They add a sense of depth when positioned at the back.
Nice pic,
