Looking for some advice/help....

Don't know if any of you remember a picture of my new blizzard girl - she looks fat & very healthy. I got her last Friday, and since then, she hasn't eaten a thing. I tried to feed her crickets for the first few days, but wasn't very worried when she didn't eat them - moving stress, or the fact she was used to mealies could be factors. After four days of her not touching a thing, I went out to get worms. She hasn't touched those, either. I moved her into a holding cage, attempting to feed her, but she went into a corner, only but twitching when a worm touched her. She seemed scared, so I left her alone a couple of days, with food in her tank - but still nothing.

She also lived with mulitple geckos. Could she still be under stress? Any cases of why it's lasted this long? [Her enclosure is almost optimum. It's a 10gal b/c it's all I had, & don't yet have enough resorces for a 20L. ANYWAY. Cool hide, moist hide, water, calcium, etc.]

Finally.. could she be gravid?

Thanks loads,
Elisa

How old is she? Were you handling her often? Has she deficated? Where did you get her?

Also, a 10Gallon would be okay for any gecko. I think that a normal gecko (not one of Trempers Giants) could live in a 10 gallon their whole lives. But that's just me.

Like a few posts down, just leave her alone. Don't handle her. Don't look at her. Don't breath near her tank...

She should come through.

She's about three months old, hasn't deficated in the past few days because she hasn't eaten. I think I am just being worrisome, & I am taking action by not doing anything. d; Thanks.

Im no expert but all I can say is I acquired new leos about a month and a half ago and it took them 3 weeks to eat for me. Now they each eat about 10 mealies a night. I think you need to be patient...your stressing over it will only stress your leo out more. I wouldnt move her to a holding tank bc being moved again is an additional stress. I would put a dish of mealies in after the lights had been out for an hr and just relax...she will eat in time.

Three weeks - that does let me relax. I have left her alone for two days, and I will keep doing so. Thanks!
