i recently got a water dragon from a relative,he works for a big time breeder and from time to time people drop off unwanted reptiles.
this happened to be a Water Dragon,he was keeping it stable untill the weather came calmer as it been 25-35F here.
upon recieving if he was very very thin and some of his back spikes where missing.
i got him dec.22nd and he refused to eat for me and didnt think much of it intill he still wasnt eating on the 26th.
well on the 27th i found him on his back dying having convulsions(sp?)gasping for air and having almost no signs of life in him.
i didnt know what to do and i didnt have the money for a vet due to me losing my job.
so this is what i did,my sister left behind syringe needles used for her snakes,i broke the tips off and went to the store and got chicken baby food and pedialite.
he was very lifeless and thought he was dead but there was movement he breathed,so with the pedialite i filled the needle and shot it in his mouth doing so 3 times and left him alone,
i did this 2-3 times a day for 3 days also giving him the baby food.
he came back around from death,i couldnt believe it.
almost dead he survived,he isnt by anymeans better,he moves around on his own and he basks.
i still feed him the pedialite and chicken everyday and will do so untill i see him eating on his own but i am very grateful i was able to help him from dying 
sorry this was so long but i am proud about saving the life of a abused animal and giving a better life....i just hope he knows that
