Update on the "Dog Ugly Snake" no one wanted

hevychevy427 Jan 01, 2004 07:00 PM

Here is Sheela after a few months of jumbo rats. We love her. She is one of the most pleasant snakes I have associated with.
Thanks for looking.

Glad to see her looking so well. Congratulations. Like many of us, I've got a rescue case of my own. She's a 7.5 Mexican-looking Boa that had over 40 rat bite scars. She was suffering from a bad infection in her jaw when we got her in March. After a few weeks of antibiotics and TLC , we got her through. Since then, she went from 14-18 pounds and she's also one of the most pleasant snakes I've been around. We'll never regret the effort.
