well one of my closest friends is moving and he has a small iguana and he is unable to take his igg with him. so here is the problem he was going to bring it to a pet shop but none of the ones around here know how to take care of an iguana and none of tehm will take it. his dad said if he couldnt find anyone to take it that he was going to let it go in teh back yard and let the thing freeze to death because he didnt care. at that point i was on teh phone with him and i heard this and i imediatley spoke up and said i would take it. i make the desision so fast that i forgot about the one 4 foot igg i have and the water dragon, uromastyx and two turtles that are currently in my room. so now here is my question. what should i do now? at this point he is only about 14 inches long and is a brat and a half but what can i say there is something about him that i like. how long will he/she be able to stay in a 75 gallon tank? i have never raised an igg from a baby to an adult. i have adopted the one i have so i am not sure how fast these guys grow. i know all about the feeding and lighting. but is there anything speacial that i should do or should i treat him like a bigger igg?
any help will be apreciated. and i will be doing alot of reading in "Iguanas for Dummies" for the next few days. wish me luck
