Can Beardies play at the beach?

theLC Jan 01, 2004 07:27 PM

I live on the beach and i was wondering if it would be safe to take my beardie for walks on the beach. i think he would love to play in the sand around the dunes but i'm concerned that the salt or anything else he may encounter at the beach may harm him or eat up his skin. does anyone know if this is safe?

Although it sounds fun, I would fear him eating something on the beach or picking up some kind of icky bug or parasite.

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence!
