Waking from brumation

wwwwwells Jan 01, 2004 10:35 PM

I just finished several weeks brumating away from a computer and my lizards. I have finished moving everything from San Diego to outside Phoenix. I will be setting up the lizard's cages tomorrow and I started waking them up today. Pictures will be coming as soon as they start coloring up. Grasshopper are very scarce in San Diego, but I've alreay seen a few in my backyard and well as crickets and blackwidows. I live 5 miles down the road from C. bicintores, 15 miles from the nearest C. collaris, and about 20 miles from C. nebrius. And it's only a 5 hour drive to see C. vestigium and C. grismeri. Can't wait until it warms up and they start coming out.

2000 miles from anything cool, and 2 miles from 200 ringnecks! Whoopty-friggin-doo!! I guess I'm just jealous...it's been a few months since I could flip any "tin" and I'm gettin antsy!
