I came home today and found bugs in my iggys cage again for like the third time. So I had to clean everythign out... And I also noticed something weird on the side of his mouth... I hope this pictures shows it well... You can kindda see the gooey stuff in between his lips. My snake died from a Respiratory Infection. Is this an infection? Im gonna go see a vet tommorow just in case but someone please try and tell me what it is..

What did the bugs look like? If they are very tiny, like grains of pepper, they might be reptile mites. It's really hard to tell what your iguana has just by looking at the picture. It *might* be mouth-rot from what you're describing, but it could also be a respiratory illness or a mouth abscess. Only a vet would know for sure.

be on the safe side and take him to a vet.. didnt you post below that the bugs were small and red. if that is the case then they are mites. and the mouth thing could be mouth rot. so my sugestion is to take him to the vet and the vet can treat it before it gets really bad.
