I just traded my adult dums (needed room for more REDTAILS) but they are just great snakes and I have had success with them for many years.
Here, our mature dumerils would be breeding now. We feed the females to best condition by about the first of December and then let them cool as the cold fronts start coming through. How cool? about a 20% reduction from normal highs. Around 70(f) at night and only to 78-82(f) in the days.
And it seems to be helpful to avoid letting them get really warm again until you see successful intromission. Don't guess, grab the tails and see for certain. Some breeders who raise temps too soon get slugs.
Check out this link, it has a lot of information on breeding Boa that you may have not completely considered.
