i also had to help Sir Galwyn my baby leo shed 2 days ago. He had a troubloe getting it off his face.. He tried sraping his head against the side of his hide for a while. He seemed to like that i was helping him shed but i don't know it's the right thing to do. I had forgotten to spray his hide down with water for a couple days so I'm shedding wasn't too much fun for him. He woke up all peely rolling around in his hide. I believe this was one of his first sheds.I also am concerned because some of his stools contain undigested food. I got him from Petco. He seems to be fine otherwise but, I'm still a little worried.

mac arthur- you can soak him but only put enogh water in that he can stand with his head completely out of the water... try this for bout 15 minutes.. GENTly try to help him with the stuck shed... if its on his feet sometimes a q-tip can help you do this gently rubbing it. if it doesnt roll off easily or come off gently with a q-tip do not force it off or pull it , you could tear the new skin underneith it.
aremycanvas- that doesnt sounds like undigested food in his stoll, that sounds like he regurged or vomited....if he is having trouble shedding and regurging i would try and get a stool sample for a fecal exam at the vet, bad sheds and regurging can sometimes be signs of some other kind of problem.
