Breeding -again kind of long-

cichlid man Jan 02, 2004 10:08 AM

I noticed last night when I was cleaning out my gecko cage that the male was mating with my larger female. Just for the heck of it I checked my other female and she looks like she has two eggs in her (maybe it's something else I have never bred leos before so I'm not really an expert on these sort of things. The one who I think has eggs in her is constantly in her humid hide digging which is another reason why I think she has eggs in her. **Can anyone describe to me how to make an incubator** (I have no idea where I would get one around here so I'm better off just building one). I also have one more quick question. **How many geckos could I put in a 50 gallon tank?** I have a 10 gallon ready for babies and a couple of spare tanks laying around the house. I am going to a reptile show on Saturday so I am bound to pick up some more geckos. (I am looking for some nice albino females and maybe a patternless one too that's why I wanted to know how many I can keep in my tank. Thanks for all of your help, sorry about the long post.
