"Normal" male?

tygar Jan 02, 2004 10:55 AM

Hi. I am new to this forum. I currently own a corn snake, but am ready to move onto the big boys!
I am interested in a boa... and have been in touch with a breeder who is recommending a "normal male boa constrictor", and says they would stay a decent size (I don't want anything too big to handle)and that they are docile.
Could I get a little info from somebody, and possibly a website and a few pics?
It would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much!

This site has great pics: http://www.riobravoreptiles.com

I definitely suggest maybe going to a Redtail boa, in my experience they are very docile (depending on their parents) and feed very well and don't get to enormous.
