problem with basking spot

dagangsta Jan 02, 2004 12:23 PM

ok, heres my problem, i have a young bd, for the basking spot i bought botha 50 and a 75 watt spot bulbs, the 50 gets the basking spot to about 105 and the 75 gets it to about 135, i was wondering first of which would be my best bet to use, and also if i just use the 75 watt wouldn't he move when it got too hot?

The 50w will be fine. 105 is a good temperature. To answer your question, he can tell generally what temperature and move, but it's better to just use the 50w.
