This is my other scarlet king hatchling. This one has the black on his head in a v pattern the previous one had black straight across. That's how I tell them apart.

Awesome snake.
I'm expecting a clutch this year myself!
Do the babies eat withinn a few days, weeks or tricky feeders?
I know your adults eat fine anoles and another type of small lizard that I keep as pets so rather not mention heehee.
Bianca
Usually after their first shed they will eat. Pinkie mice are too large. I try brown anole hatchlings first. If they are pickie they will almost always eat a ground skink. After their first meal of a ground skink they will usually take any small lizard. One of my scarlet king hatchlings will eat mouse or lizard tails.
do you have to move/twitch the tails or just leave them in the enclosure overnight?
The anole tails do their own twitching. I do hold the opposite end of the mouse tail and have a small tug of war so it thinks it is killing the tail.
