Cup Feeding Pic For Masterplan And Others

jusmebabe Jan 02, 2004 02:04 PM

This is a couple of pics of how i hang my feed cups. It also shows where they sit until i put cricket's in. It keeps me from having crix sit there all day when they aren't hungry.
My wife drinks alot of water so i use the empty water jugs cut down to what ever size i need. Crix rarely hop out since it's in a warm spot.
Sorry but had to lower resolution to get pic to fit..

That's awesome. I'm going to give it a shot. I really wish I could get either of mine to sit like that and wait for their food. They both seem to simply ignore any feeding cups I have put in their cages. But, I haven't tried a "monster-sized" one yet!

I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks,

~MP

Luna doesn't sit and wait either but she would get excited when she saw it coming into the cage (this was when she was eating). I use a regular deli-cup/cottage cheese container with a paper clip thru the side and hung on the screen. I did switch to an opaque one when I saw her try and shoot THROUGH the clear plastic but it seems other's don't have this problem. Good luck!

I hear ya Lele. Mine seem to know they have to come to the top to be able to get it. Funny thing about my male is he will sometimes try and shoot them out the bag as i'm dumping them in lol. Talk about impatient. By the way Lele i really enjoy reading your posts the keep me laughing
Oh well back to the Clemson V Tennesse game.
