Found this in my silkworm box. What is it? It moves but I can't see a head...What should I do with it? Is it a cocoon?

Found this in my silkworm box. What is it? It moves but I can't see a head...What should I do with it? Is it a cocoon?


ya looks like a cacoon man. normally most insects that are kept under the same conditions will all cacoon at about the same time
Thanks...But why isn't the cocoon made of silk, if it's a silkworm??
Well technically now that I think about it the cacoon is the silken thing that covers the pupae, which is the thing you have there. But I often just wrongly refer to a caterpillar's pupa as a cacoon anyways, whether it's surrounded by silk or not.
