I'm trying to do as much research as I can before I get my first corn and I read where corn snakes are constrictors, and was wondering if they would pose any danger to an infant or child if their paths were to cross. Thanks.

Well, I guess, technically if you let a cornsnake wrap around a babies neck, then yes, it could do harm to the child, but otherwise, no.
A cornsnake is a great choice if it is going to be a family pet. While you can get an ornery one every once in a while, most are very laid back.
