When do you know if 2 baby dragons aren't going to get along?

I have 2 babies that do get along but I'm concerned over one treats the other. The bigger one will usually lay on or push the littler one aside on their basking spot. Also if the smaller one goes to the food dish the larger runs to try to get there first but there is no confrontation between them. What do you think? They are only 1 month and a half old and are siblings. Also- poop- the smaller seems to go every other day while the bigger one goes everyday. Is it normal to skip a day?

babies 1 1/2 month old are often in with several other sibling and they do develop a pecking order which is normal, you just have to watch to make sure that the others are not getting stress out and getting their share of the food.

We've had times where we separated a baby that we thought may be getting stressed since it was smaller than the other, only to have it really start to go downhill and have to put it back in with others to get it eating again. They can all be so different, you just have to watch for indicators of a problem, and then try separating them.

We also have had ones stay together for months and never a problem once they established who was the alpha animal

I got them on Dec 16th and they were born on November 15th. I do notice that they are both eating but the larger of the 2 seems to be eating more but they are still both growing. The larger of the 2 is almost 5 and 1/4 inches and the other is about 4 and 3/4 inches. The larger was about an inch smaller when I got him/her and the other was about 4inches. They are cricket free but I guess its the Momma in me that wants to give more. What do you think about worms at this age and what do you sugest??

mealworms or superworms yet. They are to hard for them to digest much before 4 -five months, thats the age we start giving them fresh shed supers and then regular ones. Wax worms are really high and fat and beardies systems do not break down fats very well

Due to the high amount of chitin in them, we never use mealworms, superworms do not have the same amount in them that the mealworms do.

If you are giving them pellets, that will meet their protein needs for now, you might want to talk to JoelR on what he feeds with pellets, he has had good success with raising babies to adults on them.
