Updates on my PVC and coreplast box turtle pen...

tortus32 Jun 04, 2003 03:28 PM

I created a page with updated photos and descriptions.

Just go to my site, click on "Turtle Pen" and then navigate from there. The new page is linked at the bottom of the PVC pen page.

Here's one of the pics:

Can a raccoon or dog get in to the pen?

tortus32 Jun 06, 2003 06:27 AM

Hopefully not as I do have it covered with checken wire lids. The coreplast is really tough stuff too, but I guess if a raccoon really worked long enough at it, it would be able to get through eventually. My neighbor has a dog in his yard now, so I think that keeps away the raccoons for the most part.

Thanks,

Oooh, very nice. Very lush green, too.
Do they seem to be enjoying it?

I like using terra cotta pots as housing for
my boxies, too. I'm in Arizona and wet terra
cotta has a nice evaporative cooling action.

They really seem to like it.
The plants seem to increase in density every day!

The potato plant has doubled in size since I took those photos last week.

Thanks,

Bill Tracy
