Behavior question

Now Herby is head-butting the eggs?!? What does this mean and should I be doing something to help her??

Igor did that to hers too. She burried them and then I think she was just packing the dirt in by slamming her head on it.

As Skippy pointed out, it is likely a behavioral response to cover the eggs, and pack the area with her head. Below is a shot of my female sporting what folks refer to as "Dirt Helmet"
