hey i was just wondering...everytime i seem to play my music kinda loud and that has a bit of bass in it..the snakes....? feel? the vibrations from it? because they always come out and about and look around the cage and wanna come out so i usually turn the music down/ off and bring them out but i was jus wondering if ne one thought it would be bugging them like it wakes them up or somethin? cuz i dont want a bunch of cranky snakes wen they come out hahaha they dont seem to be bothered though..i do turn it down if they are outside the cage or wandering the cags...its not like it shakes there water or ne thing i would just think it creates some sort of a vibration off the tables and going into the viv. anyway what u think?

Snakes are designed to feel low frequency sounds through their jawbones... so they can hear it!

snakes find low frequency vibrations threatening, since they would represent the approach of a larger animal in the wild. I don't play music in my snake room for this very reason.

well the vibrations may make your snake think a big troup of elephants is coming his way haha

Ya... when I moved my drums into my room I was worried it would bother my boa constrictor. So, I moved the boa in his snakeroom with the rest of his buddies. The drums eventually moved down to the garage anyway.
