I know housing snakes together can be create a stressful environment for the snakes... But... What about in a 4 room enclosure? We are in the process of finishing conversion of an entertainment stand into a terrarium and when done it will have 1 large main room (27"L x 15"D x 24"T), and 3 smaller rooms (17"L x 15"D x 8"T each) all connected by tunnels. With this I've got 2 questions: 1) If 2 similar size/opposite sex bull snakes are well fed should the availability of "privacy" reduce the stress on both if housed together? 2) As long as I don't brumate would they be safe from premature breeding? All thoughts welcome.
