Aloe Vera for food?

Paris6542 Jan 03, 2004 01:52 PM

I was in the grocery store today buying some cactus for my Uro and noticed that they were selling Aloe Vera as a food item. I know people eat it, but would it be good for uros? It surprised me when I saw it, it's the biggest piece of aloe that I have ever seen, it was like 2 feet long! Anywho, any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I read somewhere that Aloe Vera is ok to feed to a uro although I doubt it would be a staple diet on its own.

oh yeah, of course not a staple food =) I would suppose it would also be good for hydration since it is like 95% water. Well, now the only thing left to do is to see it he will eat it =)
Thanks for the feedback!
