Getting crested Monday....feeding question

My crested should be in on Monday. I'm so excited! The herp guy at the pet store (the owner actually) has 4 cresteds of his own and told me what to feed:

Basically, mix half fruit baby food, with half meat (like turkey), add some CGdiet from T-rex and put some day gecko food powder stuff on the side. I think he said to do this every other day, and then feed crickets dusted with Ca powder once a week. Is this a good recommendation? I'm only getting one gecko, not sure of sex yet.

Thats fine. Some cresteds (mostly babies) dont go for the CGD/babyfood as readily as others. All are different. If it doesnt accept the diet, i would use a staple of crickets instead, and dust a few times a week.
